The cut-off score
The lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score invited in a round. If several people have that score, IRCC invites those who submitted their profiles first: each round lists the date and time it stopped at.
The lowest score invited in each round, how many people were invited, and who is waiting in the pool. Straight from IRCC’s own data, which we read every hour.

The lowest Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score invited in a round. If several people have that score, IRCC invites those who submitted their profiles first: each round lists the date and time it stopped at.
General rounds can invite anyone in the pool. Program rounds invite only candidates who qualify for one program, such as the Canadian Experience Class. Category rounds invite only candidates who meet a category, such as strong French or recent work in healthcare.
A provincial nomination adds 600 points, so these cut-offs sit far above the others. They only invite people who already have a nomination.
Everyone with an active Express Entry profile. IRCC counts them by score range, not exact score, so where a score falls is always a range.
IRCC is recalculating every profile as Canadian work and high-wage job offers start to count under a new factor. Cut-offs before and after that day won’t be directly comparable.
Each cut-off depends on who is in the pool and how many people IRCC decides to invite. Being above a past cut-off doesn’t guarantee an invitation.
