Marketplace: Businesses

Businesses for sale, with the immigration questions asked first

Businesses for sale by province, sector and price, with a preliminary look at the entrepreneur streams a purchase could fit, never a promise of a permit or nomination.

Opening soon: no business listings are published yet.

What you will find here

The listings, and where they come from

  • Businesses registered with us by their owners or brokers, and a small number our team enters from a source that permits it, each with the source and the intermediary’s contact.
  • For each business: the province and community, the sector, the asking price, how long it has operated, how many people it employs, how long the current owner has run it, and the financial information the seller lawfully discloses.

Where listings come from, and the rules for each source

How each listing is explained

In terms of your plan, from rules our lawyers approve

Each point below becomes a line on a listing: met, unknown or not met for you, with the official page it comes from.

  • Which provincial entrepreneur streams a purchase in that community could fit, and each stream’s net worth, investment, ownership, management and visit conditions, from the rules our lawyers approve.
  • Where a stream treats a purchase differently from a start-up, such as how long the current owner must have run the business.
  • Which programs are paused or closed, so no one plans around a program that is not taking applications.
  • What the listing leaves unknown, and what would rule it out.
Honest by design

What we won’t do

We never say that buying a business leads to a work permit, a nomination or permanent residence.

We assess the immigration fit separately from whether the business is a good investment, which we do not assess at all.

We never open a data room or pass on confidential financial documents; those stay between you and the seller.
