How this directory works
What a listing here means, and what it does not
- Every organization here is one our team verified, and every service entry is checked on its own: what it covers, where it serves, who may take it up, how it is delivered, what it publishes as its fees, any accreditation checked with the body that grants it, and a contact for complaints. The checks each entry passed are listed on it, with the date each one passed.
- An official or publicly funded service is marked as one, and a commercial listing is marked as a commercial listing. That distinction is held on the entry itself, not left to how a provider words its description.
- If a provider has any paid arrangement with us, its entry says so and it is shown in a list of its own. Paying us cannot move a provider into the matched results, because the matched results are built before a paid arrangement is even looked at.
- A provider’s own standing, accreditation or completion certificate is not recognition of your qualifications and not a licence. Only the regulator for your occupation in the province where you will work decides that.
- We do not pass your details to a provider unless you ask us to and agree to it, and only where our lawyers have opened that province. Otherwise you contact the provider yourself, through its own link, and tell it only what you choose to.
- An entry that is wrong can be reported from its own page. We correct it, suspend it or take it down.
